TRAMMELL, Cecil, of Brooks, Ga., and Odessa, Fla., passed away October 29, 2005, at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Trammell; son and daughter- in-law, Steven and Joan Trammell; brother, Roger L. Trammell Jr.; and two grand- children. Mr. Trammell was retired from the U.S. Air Force and the Federal Cartridge Co. as a professional shooter winning every major title at least once until his retirement in 1979. During his shooting career he was chosen as a member of Sports of Field All-American Skeet and Trap teams. He was inducted into the Georgia Skeet Shooting Hall of Fame, the Armed Forces Shooting Hall of Fame and the Georgia Trap Shooting Hall of Fame. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2005 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel in Newnan, Ga., with full military honors. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ga. Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Newnan, Ga.
