The Georgia Amateur Trapshooting Association invites you to "Give it a Shot" by visiting any of our fine clubs. Trapshooting is fun, competitive and virtually anyone can participate in this great sport. The annual membership fee for the target year is only $20 for adults, $12 for Juniors and Sub Juniors. Want to stay informed on GATA events and shoots in the area?
The GATA will be holding its annual meeting at 8:30AM on Sunday, 26 April 2026 before the first targets are broken on the final day of the state trapshoot. All Georgia shooters are encouraged to attend the meeting, award presentations and participate in the election of officers for the following year.
This year is an important meeting as the GATA Board has approved changes to the GATA bylaws that will come up to a vote by the membership. You can read the proposed draft of the bylaws as it will be presented to the membership by following this link. Please review these changes and come prepared to the meeting to vote.
